Honeymoon
Debra and me spent the next five weeks honeymooning up and down the coast of Florida.We traveled by car there, drove around the sun- drenched state with my wife, checking out a spread of land here and there, and singing tunes of my own composition...While we were totally absorbed with each other, the rest of the country was washing its Thanksgiving Day dishes and beginning to prepare for the Christmas season.But even as the honeymooning couple traveled, sheltered from reality in our own little bubble of excitement, the real world slowly was encroaching on our euphoria.
